Dark clouds have rolled in over New Jersey for Wednesday afternoon and evening as heavy rains are expected Thursday.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the rain is expected to be the heaviest in the northern part of the state, but the entire state will feel the effects of the rain.
Thursday should see rain for most of the day. Thunderstorms are possible in certain areas of New Jersey. Temperatures are expected to reach the low-60s.
The rain is expected to mostly clear out by Friday morning. Friday should start off cloudy, before giving way to clearer skies. Temperatures are expected to reach 57 degrees with a low temperature of about 36 degrees.
The weekend is looking to be mostly dry. Saturday may start off cloudy, but sunny skies should develop for the rest of the weekend. Temperatures are expected to cool off. Sunday may only see high temperatures of 45 degrees.
