New Jersey is expected to see some stormy weather on Wednesday, bringing much-needed rain.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the storms are not expected to be severe and will be isolated in the afternoon.
OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear skies. Overnight lows cool to around 64 degrees.
WEDNESDAY: Day begins with sunshine. Clouds start to build with some rain across parts of central and northern New Jersey around 11 a.m. Another round of rain drifts in around 4 p.m. with the potential for storms in the state's southern portions. Daytime highs around 77 degrees. Overnight lows near 60.
THURSDAY: Sunshine returns. Mild highs near 80 degrees. Overnight lows near 65.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with showers bringing much-needed rain. Possible minor coastal flooding. Highs near 81. Lows near 63.
SATURDAY: Partial sunshine in the morning. Afternoon showers across northern and central New Jersey. Rain ends near the evening hours. Highs near 81. Lows near 63.
SUNDAY: Similar to Saturday, early morning sunshine. Afternoon showers across North Jersey. Central and south look excellent and dry. Highs near 78. Lows near 64.
