Skies across New Jersey cleared Tuesday night after thunderstorms passed across the state. 
The storms left damage to many southern areas in New Jersey. 
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says temperatures should cool down for the overnight hours. 
The weather is expected to clear be Wednesday, with sunny skies and temperatures possibly reaching 87 degrees.
Thursday should also remain mostly sunny, but clouds are expected to develop later in the day.
