It was a dreary day Tuesday in the Garden State as clouds and scattered rain showers developed across the state.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the heaviest of the rain was mostly in the southern half of the state. The northern counties only saw small rain totals, Curren says.
Tuesday's overnight hours should remain mostly cloudy, with temperatures in the low-50s. A light breeze could develop, which may push the clouds away.
Wednesday should start off cloudy and rainy, but the rain is expected to stop by the morning. The rest of the day should see a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures in the high-50s.
Thursday is expected to see more clouds and rain developing late in the day.
