News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Justin Godynick says temperatures across the state reached the mid-80s.

Thursday should see mostly sunny skies with temperatures again in the mid-80s.
Friday could see some scattered rain develop in the later part of the day and into the weekend. Temperatures should remain in the 80s.
