(AP) - Two violent incidents in Paterson earlySaturday have left six people injured.

Two men, identified only as 20 and 21-year-old city residents,were stabbed during a large street fight that was broken up around1:30 a.m.

One victim was stabbed in the neck while the other was woundedin the abdomen, but neither injury was considered life-threatening.

Officers responding to another call about 30 minutes later foundfour city men in their 20s and 30s had been shot. All four weretaken to St. Joseph's Medical Center, where they were in stablecondition with non life-threatening wounds.

Motives for the incidents were not immediately known, and noarrests have been made.
