A vigil marking the one-year anniversary of the death of Lakewood patrolman Christopher Matlosz will be held tonight.
Matlosz was allegedly killed by Jahmell Crockam, 20, after Matlosz stopped to talk to Crockam on August Drive.
Matlosz's fiancee, Kelly Walsifer, says the loss still hurts.
"I can't even describe how hard it is and I still haven't taken off my engagement ring," says Walsifer. "I wear it on my right hand and people still ask me when are you going to get married."
The candlelight vigil is expected to be held at the green next to the Lakewood Police Department tonight.
