A New Jersey State Trooper saved a Warren County man’s life by using a makeshift tourniquet to stop his bleeding.
Trooper Roy Sanchez was called to a Knowlton Township home Wednesday after the man accidentally shot himself in the leg.
Sanchez used a computer cable and a decorative arrow he found hanging on the wall to create a tourniquet to slow the bleeding until emergency services arrived.
The victim is expected to survive.
