yesterdayA teenage girl was hospitalized after getting shot in Newark on Tuesday, city officials say.
According to officials, police found the 17-year-old victim along the 200 block of 14th Avenue near South 15th Street at 12:18 a.m.
The victim was transported to University Hospital and is reportedly in critical condition.
No arrests have been made yet. Police have not said if the victim was the target.
