Toms River cancels 2020 Halloween parade for only the 3rd time in history

Toms River has decided to cancel this year’s Halloween parade, and officials say it's for the safety of residents and first responders.

Toms River has decided to cancel this year’s Halloween parade, and officials say it's for the safety of residents and first responders.
It’s only the third time in history the parade has been canceled. The first was in the 1920s during the depression, and the other after Superstorm Sandy.
The 2021 Halloween parade will be set for Saturday, Oct. 30.
