Toll hikes take effect on bridges connecting New Jersey and Pennsylvania across Delaware River

In total, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission increased the prices of tolls at seven bridges connecting the two states. It’s the first systemwide toll adjustment in 10 years.

Starting today, toll prices are on the rise at seven bridges connecting New Jersey to Pennsylvania.
News 12 New Jersey's Keith Kocinski was at the New Hope-Lambertville toll bridge where E-ZPass toll prices are now $1.25, up from $1. For cash tolls, it’s an increase from $1 to $3.
In total, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission increased the prices of tolls at seven bridges connecting the two states. It’s the first systemwide toll adjustment in 10 years.
New tolls are in effect at the following bridges:
  • Trenton-Morrisville toll bridge
  • New Hope-Lambertville toll bridge
  • Interstate 78 toll bridge
  • Easton-Phillipsburg toll bridge
  • Portland-Columbia toll bridge
  • Delaware Water Gap toll bridge
  • Milford-Montague toll bridge
The bridge commission is urging drivers to get E-ZPass to avoid paying $3.
