Thousands of people braved the hot and humid conditions Monday to pack the Rutherford Street Fair in Bergen County for Labor Day celebrations.
Over 20,000 people, including Gov. Phil Murphy, showed up to take part in one of the great traditions of the Garden State.
Music, rides, shops, family-friendly activities and the smell of barbecue filled the air.
Gov. Murphy said he was thrilled to be able to attend. “Rutherford Street Fair is one of the must-do stops of the year,” he said. “And we are standing up for Labor today - there's no state in the nation that stands more proudly than New Jersey.”
