New Jersey will see rising temperatures and an increase in humidity for the rest of the week.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says that temperatures are expected to reach the 90s for Thursday. She is also tracking some potential Friday storms, which may produce damaging winds.
OVERNIGHT: Dry and mainly clear. Temperatures cool into the low-70s and upper-60s.
THURSDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures rise to the low-90s for a daytime high. Overnight lows cool into the mid-70s.
FRIDAY: Day starts off partly cloudy, with scattered thunderstorms developing for the afternoon. Daytime highs in the upper-80s. Stray storm possible into the evening. Overnight lows around 73.
SATURDAY: Mainly sunny skies with some scattered afternoon clouds. Stay thunderstorm possible. Daytime highs in the mid- to upper-80s. Overnight lows around 73.
SUNDAY: Isolated thunderstorms possible in the morning, followed by partly cloudy skies. Daytime highs around 83 degrees. More clouds possible Sunday night, with overnight lows around 73.
