A Sayreville War Memorial High school teacher has been indicted on charges he inappropriately touched three students, and provide two others with marijuana and alcohol.
According to the prosecutor’s office, Eric Pieklo, 51, of South Amboy, faces a number of charges, including endangering the welfare of a child and criminal sexual contact with students.
An investigation started after school officials reported his alleged behavior to police.
Police say the incidents happened at his workshop in South Amboy and the high school from June to December of last year.
He's also charged with providing two students marijuana and alcohol.
Pieklo was a tenured, 14-year teacher. He was suspended with pay after he was arrested back in December.
