Suspect sketch released in Boonton attempted abduction
The Boonton Police Department has released a description and suspect sketch for the man they say attempted to abduct a 10-year-old girl last week.
Police say a girl reported that while walking home from school last Tuesday along Cedar and Liberty streets, a man in his 20s grabbed her arm and tried to pull her into his car. She was able to get away and ran home.
The man is described as being about 5 feet, 9 inches tall with "olive" or light tan skin. He was wearing black cargo pants, black boots and a black T-shirt with a skull on it. He was also wearing a black mask over his face.
He was driving a newer, black "Lincoln Town Car" type of vehicle.
