Football fever hit the Garden State as fans cheered on the Giants run to theSuper Bowl.
The men in blue beat the hard-hitting Packers in below-zero weather for the NFC Championship in Green Bay Sunday. Super fans like Toms River resident Sondra Fortunato, who calls herself Ms. Big Blue, stayed on home turf with fingers crossed as the Giants won 23-20 in overtime.
Fortunato travels to schools and colleges with her expansive collection of Giants paraphernalia as part of the Big Blue Road Show. Ms. Big Blue's collection includes everything from game balls to toy helmets and signed photos from the players.
The super fan, who is also a champion beauty queen, says she has marched in a number of parades throughout the years, but she has one more in mind: a 2008 Giants Super Bowl parade.
