NOW: Sunny and warm Saturday with few clouds. Temperatures expected to remain in 80s for most of daytime.
TROPICS: High surf, swells and dangerous rip currents happening along the southern-facing shores of New York City from Hurricane Earl.
NEXT: Late-day showers are expected for Sunday with chances for rain increasing further on Monday and Tuesday.

A high surf advisory and rip current statement in effect for the southern-facing beaches in Brooklyn and Queens through 8 p.m. Saturday.

TOMORROW: Sunny and nice! Few high thin clouds late. Highs near 85. Lows near 67.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy. Showers possible after 5 p.m. Highs around 79. Lows near 70. Humid.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy. A chance of a few showers. Not a washout. Highs near 78. Lows around 70. Humid.
TUESDAY: A chance of showers. Exact timing unclear but not expected to be heavy. Highs near 80. Lows around 67.
WEDNESDAY - FRIDAY: Mix of sun and clouds, seasonably warm. Highs in the low-80s. Lows near 65.
