Summit now has something similar. The city is offering a courtesy phone outside the Summit Free Public Library on Maple Street.
For those looking to make a call, the phone is located outside the library center and is available for free domestic calls only.
Calls are limited to five minutes, according to a post on the library center’s Facebook page. Callers only need to press 9 and then dial a number.
