The study found that more than 30% of traffic fatalities involve pedestrians. More than 50% of fatal accidents happen at night between 6 p.m. and midnight.
The study also found that the holidays are the most dangerous time for pedestrians, with more than 2,000 fatal accidents in December from 2018 to 2021.
