The state of New Jersey is celebrating a Little League team from the Garden State that made it all the way to the Little League World Series.
A special parade was held in Elizabeth Friday to honor the Elmora Troopers. The team beat out the best teams in New Jersey to become state champions. They also won the Mid-Atlantic Region Championship, landing them a spot in the tournament.
The boys did not make it all the way in the series, but Elizabeth and state officials say that they are proud of the team.
The Troopers were one of only eight teams in the U.S. to make it into the World Series.
