New Jersey Devils players, fans get ready for Game 4

NEWARK -

New Jersey Devils players and fans alike were out in Newark early Wednesday as the team prepared for Game 4 against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Devils have not been in the playoffs since 2012.

Not many players from the current team were there at the time, so the team is looking toward its younger players to advance.

Thousands of Devils fans packed Championship Plaza outside the Prudential Center Wednesday afternoon prior to the game. Most were wearing the jerseys of their favorite players and many held handmade signs.

The game began at 7:30 p.m.
