Richard Wahl, 47, has been announced as the winner of the Mega Millions lottery.
New Jersey Lottery held a news conference to announce the winner.
Wahl says he moved to Vernon, New Jersey from Michigan last July for a job at a food service company in Hillside. He says he plans to quit that job to spend time with family and to share his wealth.
“For us we believe God has a plan,” he says. “And his plan is for us to do good with it."
Wahl says he and his wife have plans to help out family and friends in need.

The winning ticket is worth $533 million, the largest single jackpot winning ticket ever sold in New Jersey, and the fourth largest in Mega Millions history.
The ticket was sold at the Lukoil gas station in Riverdale.
The winning numbers were: 11, 28, 31, 46, 59 and Mega Ball 1.
That drawing was two weeks ago.
Officials have since presented a check for $30,000 to the owner of the Lukoil for selling the winning ticket.
