A Morris County gas station was rewarded Monday for selling a winning Mega Millions lottery ticket.
The sole jackpot winning ticket was told at the Lukoil gas station in Riverdale. The ticket is now worth $533 million.
The winning numbers are: 11, 28, 31, 46, 59 and Mega Ball 1.
New Jersey Lottery officials presented a check for $30,000 to the owner of the Lukoil for selling the winning ticket.
Store owner Ameer Krass said his 10 employees will all receive bonuses and that he will donate some of the remaining money to a local charity. He said that he has a message for the ticket holder.
“You're a very lucky person, and I hope you do a lot of good with the money. And I hope the people around you give you the space and take the time to think about what you're going to do with it,” he said.
The winner of the jackpot has not yet contacted lottery officials or the store.
The cash jackpot option is worth $324.6 million.
