The New Jersey Office of the Attorney General is investigating a Burlington County School District that may have a policy that violates state discrimination laws.
Officials say there have been three separate cases alleging gender and pregnancy discrimination filed in the Cinnaminson School District. Those cases center around a policy that prohibits employees from participating in extra-curricular activities, like coaching, while on parental leave.
Attorney General Matt Platkin says the employees who filed the complaints were all women who had their roles affected following pregnancies
