Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township will reopen today, but only to members and season pass holders.
The park opens to all starting Saturday, the Fourth of July.
Due to the pandemic, there are some restrictions. A reservation is needed so that park officials can limit capacity and stagger times for visitors, as well as ensure social distancing.
When visitors walk into the park, their temperature will be taken with a thermal imaging camera so that employees don't have to touch or get near people.

Once inside, masks are mandatory, even on-board rides as big as the Joker or as tame as the Ferris wheel. There will be hand sanitizer available.
"They will need to wear a mask,” says Kristen Fitzgerald. “All of our team members and guests are required to wear masks when in the park."
The park does have mask free zones to relax. They're also trying to keep things touchless, which is why they're asking guests to order food through their mobile app.
To this point, only the Wild Safari has been open to guests, which was also by reservation, and people were restricted to their cars. The waterpark, Hurricane Harbor, is not yet open.
Six Flags was originally supposed to open April 4.
