Sci-fi fans turn out for Walker Stalker Con in Edison
Horror and sci-fi stars were in Edison Saturday as part of Walker Stalker Con.
The event, held at the New Jersey Expo Center, allows fans to meet celebrities from popular shows like "Fear the Walking Dead" and "American Horror Story."
Also featured are panels, promotions and special attractions.
John Carroll Lynch shocked audiences with his Twisty the Clown character in "American Horror Story: Freak Show." "It's really incredible and eerie to see people with your face tattooed on their bodies," he said. "Or you have your nephew dress up as you for Halloween."
"Fear the Walking Dead" star Lorenzo Henrie says these events allow actors to see a special side of the fans who often maintain a personal attachment to the character.
"This is the most rewarding part, to see the joy that you bring to families at home that are watching this behind their TV screens," he says. "That's what good storytelling is."
Day 2 of Walker Stalker Con will be held Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
