A man sought in the stabbing death of a southern New Jersey man has turned himself in to authorities.
Ocean County prosecutors say Darneil Reeves surrendered around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the county's public defender Office. The 32-year-old Reeves faces murder and weapons charges.
Authorities have said Reeves stabbed Hassan Parker on June 22 while Parker was sitting in his car at a Lakewood apartment complex. Parker then crashed his vehicle into a utility pole and was taken to a hospital, where he died the next day.
An arrest warrant was issued for Reeves last week. His initial court date has not been scheduled.
