(07/30/07) PATERSON ? Friends and family are mourning the loss of a 23-year-old pregnant woman killed in a Paterson drive-by shooting this weekend.

Police say Elisha Wordelman, of Westwood, was standing with some friends on Presidential Boulevard early Saturday when someone in a passing van fired shots at the group. According to police, Wordelman was shot once in the upper body and taken to Saint Joseph?s Regional Medical Center. She was pronounced dead at 9:30 p.m.

Investigators say they don?t know if Wordelman was the intended victim or if her shooting was a random act.
