Police: Woman charged with arson in connection to 4-alarm blaze that forced 47 guests out of hotel rooms

Police in Gloucester Township say a woman has been charged with arson in connection to a four-alarm fire earlier this year at a Blackwood hotel.

Police in Gloucester Township say a woman has been charged with arson in connection to a four-alarm fire earlier this year at a Blackwood hotel.
The fire happened March 3 around 3:33 a.m. at the Howard Johnson Hotel located at 832 N. Black Horse Pike. Responding officers observed heavy smoke and fire coming through the roof of the hotel.  
According to police, 47 guests were forced out of their rooms. The fire also caused $3 million in damages.
Police say Dannielle Monroe is charged with arson and criminal mischief. Authorities say she was the last one to leave the hotel room where the fire started.
She was also charged on a criminal summons pending a future court appearance.
There were no injuries to report.
