Animal control officers are investigating reports that a driver tossed at least two kittens out of a moving car in Passaic County.
A witness says that it happened in the area of Route 23 and Route 46 near the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne over the weekend.
Wayne police say that they found two dead kittens on the side of the road. Both appeared to have been run over several times.
Anyone with any information about the kittens is asked to contact police or animal control.
