Police: Man dunked head in pickle-filled bin at South Jersey store
A bizarre incident at a South Jersey convenience store has gotten one man in a pickle with police.
Police in Glassboro say a man, who was not identified, walked into Heritage’s convenience store and dunked his head in a large bin of pickles. They say the entire bin of pickles had to be removed from being sold.
Authorities say the man recorded the incident on his cellphone and was apparently doing it for “likes.”
“Sometimes there are no appropriate words for the actions one takes,” police wrote in a Facebook post.
Police posted about the incident on social media on Tuesday, asking the public for help identifying the man. The post on Facebook racked up hundreds of comments and shares. Police shared an update today that said the man called and took accountability for his actions.
