Police say a gas station at a rest area in Wall Township was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night.
They say a masked man walked into the Sunoco station at the Monmouth rest stop on the Garden State Parkway at around 10:30 p.m.
He told everyone in the store to get on the ground, and ordered an employee at gunpoint to hand over cash.
The robber got away with about $3,000, then ran out of the gas station and fled in a vehicle.
Surveillance video from the rest stop is being reviewed by police.
Police say no one was injured and they are still searching for the suspect.
The manager of the station says the clerk who was held up is doing OK.
