Law enforcement officials say that they have questioned a person of interest in the disappearance of a Freehold woman missing since Oct. 30.
Stephanie Parze, 25, was reported missing after she failed to return to her home after spending the day with family members. The family says that the last known communication with Parze was a Snapchat video of Parze driving home.
Law enforcement sources tell News 12 New Jersey that cellphone records seem to indicate that the person of interest was in the woods on Staten Island for a period of time around 3 a.m. on Oct. 31.
Officials did not say who the person of interest is or what their connection may be to Parze.
Police expanded their search for Parze to Staten Island on Tuesday. Offices were out in Long Pond Park. Police were also searching in New York City on Monday.
Parze was last seen wearing blue jeans, a burgundy V-neck shirt and a burgundy sweater. She has brown hair and is 4 feet, 11 inches tall. She weighs just over 100 pounds.
Anyone who may have any information about Parze's disappearance is asked to call Detective Shawn Murphy of the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office at 732-431-7160 ext. 7032, or Detective Daniel Valentine of the Freehold Township Police at 732-462-7908.
