Police responded to a shooting in Newark early Saturday morning.

Shots were fired on Grafton Avenue and Broadway at around 3:23 a.m.

One male victim was found in the backyard of a home. He was taken to University Hospital and was treated for a gunshot wound to his stomach.

No suspects are under arrest and the case remains under investigation.
