Police: 19-year-old called in fake bomb threats to Jersey Shore boardwalk

Police say a 19-year-old from Brick has been arrested for making fake bomb threats earlier this month to the Point Pleasant Boardwalk.

Police say a 19-year-old from Brick has been arrested for making fake bomb threats earlier this month to the Point Pleasant Boardwalk.
According to police, Nkosi Jones called Jenkinson's main boardwalk office on June 3 and June 4 to make the threats that turned out to be false.
Police say both times the boardwalk was evacuated and bomb detection teams were called in.
Jones is charged with two counts of false public alarm and two counts of terroristic threats. He is lodged in Ocean County Jail pending future court proceedings.
