Police released a photo of a suspect in connection to Jamal Singleton's murder in 2011.

Singleton's mother, Monica Cassaberry, says she has never lost hope after her son was shot on Sept. 19, 2011. While Cassaberry saw footage of her son's killer shortly after the shooting, she says no video or photos were ever released by police.

She says this is something she has questioned for the past eight years, but that she is hoping people will come forward to identify the suspect.

The incident happened on Greene Avenue right outside the home of the 22-year-old's son and his son's mother. Singleton's son is now 10 years old.
