Torres Cafe and Catering in Perth Amboy is well-known for its variety of Puerto Rican dishes.

Previously, the eatery on High St. did not offer customers outdoor dining service but resorted to doing so in order to stay afloat during the pandemic.

Carlos Rodriguez, the restaurant's owner, says he and other business owners are relying on the community's support during this unprecedented time.

"It's not easy, it's unknown what's going to happen, so we still got to fight and continue to work hard, but not only this restaurant, but there's many, many in Perth Amboy that provide excellent food, great ambience, hard-working people and I just tell everybody out there support our local businesses because it's very important that we stick together so we can get through this," Rodriguez says.
