People in New Jersey are still reacting to the death of Whitney Houston.
Authorities say the 48-year-old New Jersey-native died Saturday at a Beverly Hills, Calif., hotel. No cause of death has been given.
Houston began singing at the New Hope Baptist Church on Sussex Avenue in Newark as a child. At the church on Sunday morning, where her mother is still a parishioner, sympathy cards, balloons and candles for Houston were placed outside a fence.
Many have taken to the News 12 New Jersey Facebook page to leave their thoughts and comments for the late pop-star.
