A man was fatally struck in a hit-and-run crash in Verona.
It happened near Bloomfield Avenue and Hillcrest Terrace around 9:30 p.m. Friday night.
Police say 59-year-old Matthew Beneduce McGrath, of Verona, was taken to a hospital after the crash, where he later died.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Essex County Prosecutor's Office.
