The list, which will be released in the next month, will include all current or former officers fired, demoted, or suspended for more than five days due to a disciplinary violation.
"Last year, we had bad actors,” says Mayor Andre Savegh. “We policed ourselves and got them out of here. If there are any more, hopefully this look back will help us as well they are out of here too. But I also want to collaborate and I'm open to examining and re-examining all options to improve the way we protect and serve."
The city will publish a list every year moving forward. Mayor Savegh says to expect the first list to be released in the next month or so.
The mayor also says his department has nothing to hide, adding, police body cameras will start being worn by officers early this fall.
