The Paterson Motor Vehicle Commission Licensing Center will be closed for a week because an employee tested positive for the coronavirus.
MVC officials announced Friday that the location will be closed until Oct. 16 while the center undergoes sanitization and cleaning.
Contact tracing is underway to see if the employee had any contact with coworkers or members of the public.
Anyone who needs to conduct and motor vehicle business during this time can go to the MVC offices in Lodi, Oakland and Wayne.
The Wayne location will be closed on Oct. 15-17 while the MVC prepares to open a new facility at the same site.
