Party crashers spill blood at octogenarian's birthday
Police say party crashers cut short an 80-year-old's birthday party in Ewing Township, sending four people to the hospital with stab wounds.
Nelson Montgomery was celebrating his 80th birthday with family and friends at the Ewing VFW post. According to police, two men entered the building and got involved in an altercation that spilled outside.
The knife used in the attacks has been retrieved by police.
Authorities hope surveillance video from the party will help in finding the suspects. They are also asking partygoers who used video and digital cameras to submit any footage they have of the incident.
Investigators hope to have descriptions of the suspects in the next few days.
Two victims have been released from the hospital. The other two are still hospitalized, but are listed in fair condition.
