The Community Church of Paramus is back in their building on Cedar Lane, a place they've called home since 1929, after being locked out for more than a month.
The church was forced out by the Christian and Missionary Alliance, an organization that the church belongs to, after the alliance claimed it had the legal right to take possession of the property.
After an appeals court disagreed with the alliance, the church was given back the keys, at least temporarily.
Pastor Joseph Smaha says that the full appeals process could take 12 to 18 months to complete before a final decision is reached.
