Both the prosecution and defense delivered their opening statements this morning in the case against former Rutgers student Dhuran Ravi.
Ravi is accused of allegedly using a webcam to spy on his roommate Tyler Clementi having an intimate encounter with another man. Clementi later committed suicide, which made national headlines and opened a dialogue on cyber-bullying.
In his opening statement, lead defense attorney Steven Altman said that Ravi never broadcast or transmitted an image of Clementi with another man.
