It's no wonder why Madison is aptly named "The Rose City." It's not just because of its flourishing rose-growing industry but because of its beauty - both aesthetically and socially.

Since 1896, Madison has been home to the Madison Community House. Run by the Thursday Morning Club, it works on various projects throughout the community helping others succeed. The group offers a range of child care programs such as before and after school, day care and summer camps. Most notably, the group is responsible for the success of Dress for Success boosting the confidence of women in Madison and surrounding areas.

When asked, locals expressed a high regard for their community. Madison has been described as quiet yet active and familiar. It's a small town with a small town feeling.
