Police: Green Brook man wanted for questioning in Newark shooting incident
13h agoA driver from Old Bridge is recovering from injuries after his car was hit by a train in Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon.
Police say a 65-year-old man was driving a Honda CR-V through the open crossing when the crash occurred with a NJ Transit Track Maintenance Vehicle around 1 p.m. Fire crews and multiple police responded to the scene of the accident.
Police say multiple witnesses reported seeing no warning signs or the gates lowering before the crash.
The man driving the car was brought to Jersey Shore Medical Center for his injuries.
