At least four people were hurt, including two firefighters, Sunday night during a house fire in Toms River.

The fire happened on Mount Everest Lane in the Silverton section of the town around 10 p.m.

News 12 New Jersey is told that two people inside the home were hurt and had to be flown to the hospital. At least two firefighters were also injured while battling the fire, but the extent of their injuries was not immediately known.

Less than a mile away, a second fire happened overnight on Mount Juliano Lane. Few details were released on this fire, but News 12 was told that no one was hurt.

The causes of both fires are under investigation.
