Nutley police are issuing a warning to drivers to lock their car doors.
Authorities say they've investigated a string of car burglaries this week.
Police say affected areas extend from Passaic Ave, Satterthwaite, Rutgers, Edgewood, and North Road.
They're stepping up patrols around those areas.
