New surveillance footage has been released in the shooting incident that left a New Brunswick man in a wheelchair.
Police in New Brunswick claim they opened fire on Victor Rodriguez after he started shooting into a crowd of people in January.
It turns out that the gun Rodriguez used was shooting blanks.
Rodriguez' family claims he shot into the air because he was trying to break up a fight.
The victim's family filed a federal lawsuit against local authorities.
In it, they claim that the city and other officials failed to properly train its police officers.
