First lady Tammy Murphy has announced New Jersey will be the first state to incorporate climate change education for students in kindergarten through 12 grade.
The initiative has been adopted by the state’s Board of Education.
Murphy says this generation will feel the effects of climate change more than others, and wants students to stay informed.
